Some amazing things about Geraldine are:

She had a 5 year plan to become a senior developer and did it in 1.

If something needs to be changed, it gets changed. If anything needs to be modified, it’s done asap. Geraldine is nothing if not efficient. Her steadfastness and commitment to learning added to her determination to do a job well done made her grow into her current role at an uncommon pace. She knew she wanted to be a senior developer, and knew she had to learn and grow to do it. So, she learned fast and studied harder, implementing everything she could along the way, while being consistent in her self training, day in and day out. The day came where it all paid off, and she went from a junior developer to a senior developer….all in 1 year.

Math whiz and dedicated learner.

Going for getting Honors in every subject in primary school – and I’m talking every one – she then went on to get into and graduate from the most prestigious college in her state. Then, not only in college did she ace Integral Calculus, but she also tutored others. Talk about good with numbers! And at the end of her last semester, she was simultaneously taking her final exams, going to her final classes, and working. If this isn’t dedication, I’m not sure what is. Oh, did I mention she isn’t just good at math, but actually loves working with numbers?? And now you can see why she fits right into the programming world.

Lovingly fostered 15+ kittens and helped them get into new homes.

Kittens! Kittens everywhere! Ok, so maybe not all at once, but definitely, a large amount for anyone to take care of, even spread out throughout months and years. Geraldine is a genuine lover of animals and takes it to the next level of caring with the fostering that she does. She even fell in love with one of the little scamps, and decided to keep him – he’s very happy she did. I don’t know if you’ve ever had animals, but they can be a lot to maintain, especially with the level of care that babies need. That level of compassion, patience, and kindness is damn near saint-like, and are all traits that this lady has. Life changing events happen every day, in big and small ways, with one act at a time. Like Geraldine, we can all make a difference through being kind to others, to ourselves, and to the creatures we share this earth with. We are all in this together.

Golden Nugget: It doesn’t take much to be kind, and we can all do our part to be a little kinder: you never know how it can change the world around you.
