Tara E. Johnson, Sprecher

Nice to meet you!!! My name is Tara E. Johnson and I’m the Artistic Director at a local High School in VA. I’m full of energy and have a copious amount of experience in the theatre arts. I studied broadcasting, acting, journalism, and dance at Elizabethtown College in PA and at Cheltenham University in England. I’ve appeared in a plethora of ballets, musicals, and theatrical performances. In addition, I’ve directed and choreographed full length productions. Currently, I teach High School English and Theatre, but I am also a professional Interpreter for the Deaf (I attended Graduate School at Gallaudet University)!!! I’m super well-rounded and have tons of life experience to support my narration performances. For example, I’ve travelled the world, I’m a returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer (stationed in Turkmenistan), and I love my two teenage daughters, five dogs, and two horses (my awesome husband should probably get a “shout-out” as well)! I look forward to working with you in the future.
