I'm a writer, director and editor based in Bogotá with a 6 year experience editing short films, documentaries, advertising and commercial pieces. Drifting through these different formats, I understand the nature and requirements of each, however, in all of them I strive to engage my audience. I see editing as the moment where all the pieces must come together in a compelling manner in which rhythm, structure and storytelling propel a message in an engaging way. I like to expose myself to experimental filmmaking and see what new techniques or aspects can be adapted to a more commercial format.
