A subtly Scottish voice with variety and authority: credible and positive with the necessary gravitas for corporates and E-learning; persuasive and sincere for commercials and promos; perfect for compelling storytelling and narration. Fluent French speaker. A languages teacher for many years, I learned a lot about the value and power of the human voice: crucial to effective communication but also a tool with the capacity to stir emotion and influence mood. Whether it be to arouse and enthuse or to calm and soothe, the right vocal delivery can lend accessibility to, and amplify the meaning of, all kinds of text. I trained in London with a voiceover specialist but returned to my native Edinburgh to start my business. I have worked mostly within the context of the corporate world and have produced the audio for explainer videos and text-to-speech applications as well as editing and recording case studies for a charity. I'm keen to explore all manner of scripts with the aim of bringing them to life with the appropriate tone and energy and I will invest my focus, time and effort in producing the best possible results.
