A powerful, professional, mature, flexible female voice
I've always got something to say! I am an experienced Aussie voice over announcer with thousands of regional radio and television commercials, training films to my credit over the years. I am always looking out for more voiceover work. I have worked as a copywriter and producer for years so I have an understanding of intent, flow and reading to time. I record in a purpose-built recording studio at MEL Productions . I record with a Neumann T120 Microphone, and focusrite Scarlet 2i2 interface and I use Adobe Audition. I am available 9 to 5 Monday to Friday Australian Eastern Standard Time and am happy to turn voice tracks around in under an hour. As a University graduate with a degree in literature, my first job was as a Commercial Radio Copywriter at Radio Station 4RR which was a regional radio station in the tropical coast of North Queensland. It was a great training ground. Just to be sure I was the best I could be I trained with the highly regarded speech teacher Olga Coleman. I was enthusiastic about voice work and after my first voiceover I was asked to join a breakfast radio team. My ability was recognised which enabled me to progress to doing voiceovers for hundreds of radio commercials. From Radio I went on to commercial television production where I worked as a writer, producer and station announcer for North Queensland Television, QTV and WIN Television. In that capacity I also voiced Television commercials for other agencies, producers and production companies, as well as documentaries, e-learning content and training films. Clients include Mercedes Benz, Chandon,Toyota, Holden, Origin Energy, Sustagen and hundreds of small businesses worldwide. I have lived in Germany and the U.S. as well as Melbourne in Australia before returning to Far North Queensland where I have established my own media business. I currently have 7 shows a week on Internet Radio with Big Hits Radio, which is owned by Morgan Broadcasting Industries. I am articulate and can clearly read up to 107 words in a 30 second ad, but as most voiceover announcers would prefer not to have to read at that pace. I am mature, flexible and reliable, turning finished voice tracks around quickly. I look forward to hearing from you.
