As the pandemic ushered everyone inside for an indeterminate period of time, I invested in a professional home audio studio to be able to continue my life as a performance artist. Most appealing at first were audio books due to their opportunity to create a variety of characters within the narration of the story arc. I have now completed five full length novels. I delivered a nightly newscast for a variety of TV stations and networks for more than 25 years and have the well honed chops required for that style of presentation. However, I went to college on an acting scholarship, and have spent years taking on roles (stage, film, TV, web) that were far removed from legit TV news. The most interesting blending of my experiences as actor and legit TV guy are viewable in the Onion News Network work I did for 6 years, wherein I portray a TV morning show host (Today Now!) in videos created by the deliciously wacky and demented writers of The Onion. Hundreds of those projects are available on YouTube and other platforms and many have over 1,000,000 views.
