Rich Travale, voice actor

Rich Travale is an actor, musician and voice talent living in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Since his breakthrough, awkward-teenager role as Juror #3 in his high school’s rendition of Twelve Angry Men, he has been driven by the need to perform. After many years touring and playing with the indie-rock band The Papillomas, he directed his performance efforts towards acting in short films. Rich has starred in several short films, including Nice Shoes, a silly comedy about two men trying (and failing) to understand how to attract women. He also starred in The First Time We, a short dramatic film featured on Gaia TV’s short film streaming service, for which he received the Most Promising Actor award at the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival. He also recently starred in the short comedy Reproductive Cycles, which won the People’s Choice Award at the 2017 Vancouver Island Short Film Festival and has screened at several festivals across BC.This summer, Rich starred in the dark comedy How to Hide a Dead Body, which won the People’s Choice Award at the 2019 Vancouver Island Short Film Festival and has screened at several festivals across BC, Oregon and Hollywood CA.Rich’s passion for acting and voice acting has led him to take ongoing acting training as well as attend regular acting and voice acting workshops. He has taken acting and stage craft training with Bonnie Catterson of Kismet Academy. Knowing that his interests were more towards film and tv, Rich found his way to his current acting coach and mentor Jacqui Kaese of the Spotlight Academy. Through Jacqui and the academy, Rich has also had the opportunity to work with Acting coach Bart Anderson, Dialect coach Tony Alcantar, and famed acting coach Margie Haber.
