Originally from Hungary, Erika has more than 15 years of experience as writer, copyeditor, proofreader, and English-Spanish translator. Erika holds two BA degrees in Classical Philology and History from the University of Szeged (Hungary), and an MA in Spanish from the University of Iowa. She has worked as copyeditor in English and English-to-Spanish translator with important university presses in Colombia, such as Universidad de los Andes, Rosario, Javeriana, La Salle, and CESA (Bogotá), in addition to being a copyeditor and proofreader in Spanish, and educational content writer at Aparicio Publishing (Houston, TX). She also taught undergraduate Spanish classes at the University of Iowa and the University of Chicago, and is the author of two textbooks on Social Studies published by Santillana.
