I am a biologist. I have strong influence from latin american writers such as the antipoetry pioneer Nicanor Parra, the magical realism writer Garcia Marquez, cienaste Jodorowsky, etc. I don't have a favourite genre, as I've been going from one to another, passing from surrealism to sci-fi, ocassionaly landing on russian dramaturgy and then taking to magical realism. Although my native language is spanish, I've always prefered to read and write in english. It may be an effect from my scientific formation, but I find myself understanding the english translations of foreign texts better. Also, understanding and developing knowledge in secondary languages helps developing some areas of our brains and I'm always looking to improve myself. Did I mention I've been part of my university's weightlifting team? As I said earlier, I'm always looking to challenge and improve myself in every aspect of my being. So I've got knowledge in sports and have been doing a lot of diffusion in this area, from event flyers to nutritional fact articles. As I have already stated, I'm always looking for challenge and I take every assignment as serious as workout or science itself. I will give my very best to produce the best and to better myself as a writer or as a pro.
