My voice may be described as rounded, warm, confident, smooth, informed, distinctive and slightly RP. Recently I recorded a voiceover for a safety video for YIT, a Russian/Finnish construction company. It won the Gold and the Grand Prix prize at the World Media Festival in Hamburg on 6 May 2015. You can see it in the Audio section of my website: www.marcusmassey.com Amongst other work there you'll also find an infomertial I recently recorded for Philips, a promo film for The Finnish Horse Board, a documentary style voiceover that I did for the film 'Untouchable', an infomercial voiceover for Gamucci, a corporate style voiceover for the UK Department of Culture, Media and Sport, and a segment from a radio adaptation of 'Pilgrim's Progress'. He was voice coach for the Royal Shakespeare Company, and continued his studies with the renowned phonetics expert Greta Colson. Furthermore he taught speech and radio technique at the Guildford School of Acting, coaching the winner of the Carleton Hobbs Radio Award. Subsequently he has held posts at ALRA (Academy of Live and Recorded Arts); the Webber Douglas Academy; Rose Bruford College and Richmond upon Thames College. He has tutored students for the Italia Conti Academy degree course. Gordon was Head of Speech at the London Theatre School and went on to become Head of Voice at the London Academy of Performing Arts and later Head of Voice at London's Method Studio.
