There is a huge difference between the common misconception of voice acting as being merely a person with a “nice” voice stepping into a recording booth and reading a script - and the reality of how much professional training, practice, experience, education, and blood, sweat, and tears are required in order to be an effective, consistent, reliable professional voice actor. I don’t claim to have “arrived”, but I have been working diligently at it for many, many years. When you hire me to record your script, I do not merely step into the recording booth and read in an "announcer" voice. Instead, your project will be approached with personalized care, comprehension, and attention to detail. I try to put myself in your shoes and understand your project, your target audience, and your objective. I then rehearse and internalize the script so that my delivery sounds natural, conversational (or more authoritative, if appropriate), and credible.
