Victor Mares is the son of Victor Mares Alcalá and Maria Becerril Hernandez, who were both actors and voice over talents and directors. He began his career in the Spanish dubbing industry at the age of four, before he learned to read. He has thirty nine year of experience as a voice over talent. At the age of 15, he began to work at a recording studio as a recording engineer and since then he has worked in front and behind the microphones, as sound engineer, producer, and director. As voice talent, he is best known for his work as Marty McFly in the films Back to The Future 2 and 3, Jeremy Powder Reed in the film Powder, Young Hercules in Hercules, Willy Wonka in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (second version), Toby in Astro Boy, and he was the voice of Mickey Mouse for 15 years. Victor also has recorded thousands of radio and television commercials, countless infomercials, narrations, audio books, presentations, e-learning modules, and other voice over projects. He is well known and recognized by many in the industry. For nine years he supervised the final mix of the Latin American Spanish, theatrical versions of several major films at Sony Pictures in Culver City. He is fully bilingual and an excellent English to Spanish and Spanish to English translator.
